How to Add a Custom SSL Certificate

If you have an SSL certificate you want to use for QUIC.cloud, instead of generating a new one, you can add your current one. Adding a custom certificate in QUIC.cloud is easy and can be done in a matter of minutes.

First, start by signing in.

After logging in, you will be shown the main client page.

Add/Choose A Domain

If the domain you want the custom certificate added to is already on the dashboard, select it and then skip to the Input Custom Certificate section of this tutorial. If you need to add the domain, click on “[A] + Add Domain”.

Once you add the domain name, hit “Next”

You will be brought to a page to set the domain IP and SSL.

Make sure the Auto Certificate is set to Off.

Click “Next”.

Click “Manage ‘Domain’ setting”.

That will bring you to the main Domain Overview Page.

Input Custom Certificate

Click “[E] Edit” in the top right corner. On that next page (the Edit Domain page) input the Certificate, the Private Key, and the Certificate Chain.

Scroll down and click “Update”.

That should bring you back to the Domain Overview page.

Check it's Working

Now that the custom certificate has been added, make sure to check that it is working correctly.

Go to the website with the domain you just added.

Check the URL bar next to the domain name for a lock symbol.

Click the lock.

You should see a box stating the connection is secure.

Next, click “Certificate (Valid)”.

Make sure the “Issued by” and “Valid from” information is correct.

If everything looks good, that means you have added the custom certificate successfully!
